Copacabana Beach is located in Copacabana, in the south of the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Considered one of the most famous beaches in the world, is affectionately known by the population of "Princess of the Sea." Bordered by Atlantic Avenue, its sands are home to large events, such as world championships of beach soccer, volleyball world championships, shows up to one million people (such as the Rolling Stones on February 18, 2006 [1] and DVD recording "Claudia Leitte live in Copacabana," the Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte on February 18, 2008 [2]) and one of the biggest new Year celebrations in the world, with over 2 million people.
