This is a one time chance.
Argosy is working with Seattle Photography Associates on this event. We will be renting the top Sky Deck and Mariner Room of the Royal Argosy. They have never had a request quite like ours and were very interested. The Royal Argosy, which is moored at Pier 56 on the Seattle waterfront and is the largest vessel in the Argosy Fleet. The ship is 180' long with 42' beam. It's BIG. It normally can sail with 600 people on a dinner cruise. I need to say again - it's big. Depending on other parts of the ship being rented the evening of the event we may be given access to shoot in other areas of the boat but Argosy can not guarantee this. The ship will be departing the dock at 7 pm. and returning at 11 pm.

For this event we will need a minimum of 50 signed up and paid photographers to retain it for the evening.
We will book 50 - 80 models, and possibly more if there are more photographers who sign up. There needs to be a minimum of 50 photographers signed up and paid by April 30 for this event to proceed.

Appetizers will be professionally catered by Argosy with a cash bar.

Local entertainers will perform for practice at live shooting.

The upper deck cabin will be set up with backdrop and lighting shooting bays. Photographers are free to set up personal battery powered lighting. Limited power supply lighting will be allowed with prior approval. around the ship. Those with professional lighting who wish to set up shared shooting bays for attendees will be provided with rebate discounts on the cost of the event in relation to the specific setups.

The cost per photographer for the event is $150. A rate for accompanying assistants is $75. Working MUA and Stylists who wish to participate in exchange for services are $25 (deposit to cover the Argosy Cruise per head count for catering and drinks).
