I am very fortunate to live in the Scottish countryside and have parents who live on the Scottish coast. The combination of having two places which are absolutely stunning, made me decide to get into photography. I have been taking photographs for about 18 months with a compact camera, but upgraded to a Nikon D50 DSLR about 4 months ago. What a difference! So as you can see I am pretty much a novice in the area of Digital SLR photography. Any advice and assistance people can give me will be appreciated, but can you keep the technical jargon simple for me.
