I have been interested in just snapping away since i first 'borrowed' my schools camera for a trip to Paris some three years ago (some interesting shots to put on the site at a later date!).

I have since bought a 5MP camera (Canon Powershot S50) which has been used to take most if not all of my images you see on this great site but i think this is as far as i am going to go with the equipment; i am happy with the results, so far!

I am a school teacher (for 11 years now, god forbid) and have been a secondary art teacher (12-18year olds) for a year. I have been heavily involved in digital image manipulation using photoshop CS and others as part of my job and have got used to snapping away with a more careful eye as i have gained experience.

I love to play around with imagery on the computer, although none of the photos i have included have been manipulated in anyway (although i do have hundreds i have messed with!)

But i still have a long way to go so any comments as to how my imagery could be improved would be great.
