Sono di Messina (Italia) e fotografo da più di 30 anni. Uno scatto ,per me,è la capacità di cogliere al volo l’attimo “irripetibile”, che è la vera essenza della fotografia. E’ la capacità di scoprire il dettaglio che “scappa”,la situazione emblematica ma fuggevole, la dote di trovare tra le pieghe della vita di tutti i giorni la poesia e, a volte, anche la disperazione. La macchina fotografica ha sempre esercitato su di me un fascino irresistibile,qualcosa di inspiegabile. Prediligo ritratto,glamour e reportage. La mia attrezzatura è composta da due digitali ,la Nikon D700 e la Coolpix 5700 .Da alcuni anni sono iscritto all'U.I.F. (Unione italiana Fotoamatori) con diversi incarichi a livello dirigenziale e nel settore dell’editoria e del web.

Ich komme aus Messina auf Sizilien und fotografiere seit mehr als 30 Jahren. Ein Foto bedeutet für mich, einen unwiederbringlichen Augenblick einzufangen, das wahre Wesen der Fotografie. Es bedeutet auch, das entfliehende Detail aufzudecken, eine emblematische, aber flüchtige Situation zu beschreiben, die Fähigkeit zwischen den Falten des Alltags Poesie zu entdecken, manchmal auch Verzweiflung. Fotoapparate haben auf mich immer eine unwiderstehliche Faszination ausgeübt, unbeschreiblich. Ich bevorzuge Porträt, Glamour und Reportagen. Meine Ausrüstung besteht aus zwei digitalen Kameras, der Nikon D700 und der Coolpix 5700.Seit einigen Jahren bin ich Mitglied der U.I.F. (Unione Italiana Fotoamatori), wo ich verschiedene leitende Aufgaben im Bereich der Verlagsarbeit und des Webauftritts habe. Mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut wie es hier scheinen könnte...ich wurde geholfen :-)

The photographic car has always practiced on me a charm irresistibile,qualcosa of inexplicable. I have a preference for ritratto,glamour and report. My equipment is composed from two digitalis, the Nikon D700 and the Coolpix 5700 .From some years I am enrolled to the U.I.F. (Italian union Fotoamatori) with different charges to managerial level and in the sector of the book industry and the web.
