My name is Donna Richens and I started a photography course at Thames Valley University as a mature student in 2006 and finished after two years with 100% distinctions. Photography has always been a passion of mine, but something that always stayed on the backburner whilst I brought up my children. I have worked part time in theatre for around 16 years, where I believe a lot of my inspiration has come from. Pantomime in particular, with the colourful sets, dramatic, often harsh lighting. Wonderful costumes, all add to that real sense of fun and drama, I feel is reflected in my work.

I look forward to comments that help me to improve my work. Thank you to everyone that has encouraged and inspired me, both in Photography and Theatre.
