Late seventies I started taking pictures, there were no bits and bytes so everything had to be done with chemicals. I had my own darkroom where I only could develop BW pictures. I did this for about 7 years and then I stopped taken photo's (only on holidays ofcourse). I bought my first digital SLR camera (Olympus E300) in 2005 (bought E520 in 2008) and found the site of FC accidental, I joined and found out that this is a great way of sharing youre photo's. I have learned a lot (and still do) by looking at pictures of others.
I did like to work in the darkroom, it was great to see the image develop in the first chemical bath, the red lights. But I found out that digital imaging is a better way of making pictures. I like to work on the computer with the bits and bytes that I have cought with my camera, only miss the smell of chemicals of my old darkroom.

My best photo is still not taken yet ;-)
