Von der Malerei und dem Zeichnen hin zur Fotografie..
Das Fotografieren begann in den 70igern mit meiner ersten Kamera, einer Canon A1. Themenschwerpunkte waren dabei Landschaft und vor allem Menschen und Situationen, vornehmlich in Schwarz & Weiss und im Raum Frankfurt und Darmstadt. Fuer lange Zeit habe ich das Fotografieren vernachlaessigt bis ich dann ueber die digitale Fotografie meine alte Leidenschaft wiedererweckt habe. Meine treue A1 wurde nun durch eine 5D Mark II ersetzt, die mir nun hoffentlich fuer weitere 25 Jahre dienen wird..
Ich freue mich ueber jeden Kommentar, Kritik und Anregung...!!

From the arts of painting and drawing to the art of photography..
I started photography in the 70s with my first Camera, a Canon A1. My main subject was nature, people as well as situations, mainly in black & white and around Frankfurt and Darmstadt, Germany. Later than and over a long period of time I neglected photography until I got in touch with the digital media. That revived my passion again. I am now on a rollercoaster of emotional and visual sensations, anxiously trying to revitalize my creativity. My pictures are a testimonial of this sweet struggle …
I am open for any critique, comments and advise ..!

Ich freue mich, Bernd, dass du so gut reagiert hast auf meine Anmerkung und Kritik. Schön so, denn das ewig gleiche "Lobgehudele" bringt ja keinem etwas.
Und ich sehe, du weisst und siehst, auch als Zeichner und Maler, das Gesicht von Susan zu schätzen und "ins rechte Licht zu setzen".
Einfach so!!!! Danke für deine tolle Reaktion.

Hey it has been a while Bernd - as you can see I am still every now and then tinkering with grayscale and colour pictures. Thanks for your feedback.

I've finally got the bw+colour blend to work. There seems to be several different ways of doing it. Anyway in the process I've stumbled on some other Photoshop tricks. Thanks for the tips.
