Hi All - I am an Amateur photographer, but learning fast, sometimes not fast enough though. I like all Genre's of photography, but find portraits the hardest to master.
I am Australian but was born in England and have strong ties there.
I live on the Central Coast, NSW Australia, It is a most beautiful place aprox 60k from Sydney CBD. , and most of my pictures are taken there. We have great waterways and many National Parks.
I am married with two BIG boys and i work as a Residential Care Worker, for people with a disability.
I am just realising that Digital editing is an Art Form in its own right. And opens one up to more unique expression.

well there is some light in her eyes, the window probably. i am not sure how to get it brighter if you dont use flash-lights. but you might try some kind of soft "enlightning" ( if thats the word ), such as depafit or silver-plastics. but i assume this will again have effect on the whole light-mood!
soory, not much help i fear; but if you do it with PS, you might take two shots: one for the natural mood, the other with slightly higher iso and just "etch" the eyes through.... ;) well, i am really not good enough in english to express what i mean...sorry!

No they are not lessons at all, just my thoughts, personal inputs, ideas, not lessons! Sounds like a great pressure and might be negative sometimes to some people's own feelings toward this hobby if my little ideas were lessons; besides I take very few pics during the previous five months and forgot quite a lot actually.

From 16 bit to 8 bit that would be a significant reduction particularly to its original color performance, normally no such request would happen whilst converting raw to jpg, guess which might possibly has something to do with the cloning. Compared to your former works it's rather more blurred et unsharp possibly resulting from the changed file format you which mentioned.
I hope my little idea helps and expect to see more photos from you later on.
