Photographer in search of employment

Up to 1995 I was employed as a technical photographer and a lighting expert in two photographic studios.

After the last firm’s closure, I started studying in the digital sector and lost my heart to photoshop.
In most of my photos one doesn’t notice “all” at first sight; the challenge is to make the composition fascinating enough as to urge the beholder to keep looking for the real picture.

At this moment I am working at a new series of photos; by “blowing up” some elements in the picture and by making use of unnatural colouring of the scenery, the unreal is brought to the fore.

Greetings from Herzogerrath Germany and Deinze, Oostvlaanderen. I enjoyed your photos which I found be chance. Perhaps we could meet us some day to make some photos together in the "Leiestreek".
Best regards,

Helmut

tot 1995 werkte ik in twee fotostudios
als technische fotograaf en licht-deskundige,
toen deze firma failliet ging heb ik in de digitalesector
enkele studies gedaan, en mijn hart verloren aan photoshop ; het meerendeel van mijn werken zijn fotoos waar me de eerste seconden niet "alles" ziet;
de uitdaging voor dit maken is dus: de compo boeiend genoeg houden zodat de "toeschouwer" blijft zoeken naar het ware beeld
