About me
i satrted taking a photos about a year ago when i was looking threw an ansel adams calender i decided i would like to take pictures so i got a camera nothing special just a little digital camera but it was all i could afford and now im saving up for a real camera . i focus most of my pictures on scenery

Best thing to do, Vance, is ask questions.....lots of them. if you see a photo you enjoy, ask how it was shot.I'm no expert either, but I'd suggest that until you get a camera that you can control more fully, then get stuck into editing your photo's in Photoshop or another graphic software program. That'll at least teach you about contrast, colour, saturation, etc.

Hello Vance,a warm welcome to fotocommunity.com! The first step getting serious in photography might be your willingness to learn. If you are ready, take the chance within this community, share your pictures and comments with other photographers and see how you will improve very quickly. It does not depend that much on a highly sophisticated camera but more on your way to catch the right moment for a special situation..
