I was born in Africa and always had an interest in nature from a very early age.
I had plenty of opportunity to study all subjects in the veld.
My last 32 years have been spent in Australia
and therefore have had much time in the outback.
My equipment.
Nikon D2x out of order at this point in time.
Sony Cyber-Shot DSC S 70 which is rated @ 3.2 mps. For all my macro work.
And a Sony Cyber- Shot DSC F 828 rated @ 8 mps. For all other photographs.
My simple deduction of a successful photo is the passion for the subject before our lens.
I live in Karratha West Australia, 1,600 klms North West of Perth, Karratha is an Aboriginal word meaning beautiful country.
It is a very harsh rugged country, but has a great deal of beauty beyond the bitumen.
I would like to thank all the wonderful friends that I have met on FC!!
And a special thanks to the wonderful team of FC!!!
Thank You!!
John Moore.

hi, just came across your comment for my friends photos and I just wanted to say Hi from Estonia. I was in Australia about a year ago and just loved it - landscapes. I hope I'll get around to Western Australia and Northern Territory and then down to Tasmania.
Ever to been to this side of Earth? :)
