Hallo Radomir,
Deine Ernte - Serie ist für uns wie aus der guten alten Zeit: bei uns arbeitet niemand mehr in Tracht auf dem Feld, man sitzt nicht mal auf dem Traktor damit. Beeindruckend auch Deine knappen Ausschnitte. Du solltest uns ruhig etwas größere Bilder gönnen mit 900 Pixel Breite bzw. 700 Höhe bei Hochformat. Von der Qualität geben die das doch spielend her.

Dear Masha, thank you for your note and kind words. I'm grateful also for your tips on post processing. This is all new to me, the Photoshop end of it, and of course I'm trying to relearn what I used to know about photography and darkroom work. Your photographs are truly inspiring to me. I've done some writing about rural life in 19th century Ireland and appreciate your aesthetic. I actually thought you had posed and costumed your subjects when I first looked at them. I think the woman in the long skirt threw me. But now that I know you didn't, and these are truly candid portraits I am even more impressed and thrilled with your work. It shows the possibility of using the camera as a form of expression and not just technique. I'm sort of wrapped up in technique right now. It's a pleasure to know you through your images. My thoughts exactly, Ralf. I am inspired by the rural life and came back to it after living in a metropole for 16 years. Circumstances may change, but this is what I can offer right now. I'm glad to share a peek into this way of living to the rest in fotocommunity.
