Dear photographers,

In the twenty-first century, thanks to the intelligence and creativity of mankind, we are leaving in a much smaller world. The challenge of “around the world in eighty days” is by gone. Now, we can travel around the world in less than twenty-four hours, meet different people and cultures in short timelines. We do not even need to get out of our homes for such context. Thanks to the achievements of communications technology.

In our small world, all human beings are one of a kind with their feelings, clothes, facial and body languages. The mankind should come together, realize the limits of its living space and protect the beauties of our good old world. We should keep in mind that as for now, we do not have an alternative habitat.

A photo frame can be very instrumental in truly reflecting feelings, thoughts and beauties, at times when words remain insufficient. The visor is a photographer prospective to life and a camera, a tool of communication between the artist and subject. In a way a photographer may pack his camera and all tools after a long photographic journey and still keeps seeing his environment in frames. A photographer passion sometimes reaches a level where he looks at a dramatic scene with a sullen face and thinks “this could be better in black and white”. This actually is a reflective of a photographer’s symbiosis with the feelings of his subject.

Photography is the peaceful version of hunting. A photographer goes for a hunt for his subjects. You can come across with a variety of them. Some rejoicefully accept the artist’s invitation to communicate and some decline or even show reactions. There is no greater pain for a photographer than obeying to this reactions and not being able to immortalize a timeless moment. The happiness and satisfaction of an accomplished photograph however can best be displayed by a self-portrait.

Some significant objects like Tower of Eiffel, the Statue of Liberty or the Sydney Opera House are inured symbols in photography. Yet they can still set a scene for creative photographers, because each approaches similar objects in a different way. You will find them in search of a significant perspective and light effect around a still object to glue a personalized view of point and light effect that changes every minute of the time. If you take into consideration the angle of objects and the changing light effects by time altogether, you will reach an infinitive number of frames and think that no object on this earth can be captured twice... Here we begin with the mathematics and philosophy of photographic art, a representation by means of lines, in other words "drawing with light and perspective“which has no limits…

This virtual exhibition of mine entitled “Faces and Scenes” is the fruit of long term work that shows a devotion to the art of photography.

Compiling the selected frames in this portfolio, this virtual exhibition is reflective of my very own view to the world.
