Welcome!
I was born in 1969 in a little, laid-back town on the shores of Lago Maggiore.
As far as photography goes... well... I took a lot of pictures up until my mid-twenties. Then came the kids and it all came to a stop.
A couple of years ago, when I found myself single again and with way too much time on my hands, I started taking long walks in the woods, along the river, in the mountains... anywhere, really...
I discovered a world very close to most of us, yet so hidden... almost forgotten. But there it was, full of color and life... At any one time there was so much going on, yet time seemed still.
All that I found, I can't really say... but one thing is for sure: there I found peace.
The return to photography came as natural as a good cigarette after dinner for a smoker.
A heartfelt “thank you” goes to my companion in life who allows me to get lost in a swamp for hours once in a while and without whose patience and support these pictures wouldn't be possible!
