I was born in Germany but for the last 25 years I lived and travelled in 40 countries all over the world.

The absolute priority in my pictures has always been the motive and in second place the composition. Only then comes the technical aspect of exposure time or aperture. Therefore I own many imperfect fotos, which I still love.
saying that, I never set my camera on automatic. I want to be responsable for the picture, even if overexposed.

I took most pics with low-budget SLR-cameras, only recently I changed to a middle range Canon EOS 450 D

hiya Mark, I really like what you've said on yr profile, makes me think that I should feel the same and just be happy I'm taking pics, I've got a lot of pics laying around to "not perfect" but I still like them because I can remember the feeling of the situation when i took them...good luck with it... I'll be following...

thanks for your really nice comment on my photo. i'm still learning (and loving every moment of the journey) and i like your approach. i'm going to give that a try. sometimes i get bogged down in the technique that i miss the shot.

Hallo Mark, ich habe grade ein wenig in Deinen Fotos gestöbert und wirklich alle gefallen mir! Sehr schöne Motive und anscheinend hast Du ein gutes Auge ;-) Du reist wohl viel?
Wie auch immer, ich wünsche Dir sehr viel Spaß hier in der fc, denn dazu sind wir doch alle hier, oder?
