Hello Fotocommunity people

I have been an amateur photographer all my life, since my early teenage years.
My work is very simplistic but I would like to improve by learning how to improve technique... so comments are welcome... please criticize! I would like to learn how to "finish of" a photo, so it looks professional enough to frame it / print it large format.

I prefer not to fiddle too much with photos after I transfer them onto the computer (but I always do - a bit)

I do not use photoshop or anything like that - just plain old Photo Filtre and, sometimes, some specific features on Picasa too.

The only equipment I have is my Fujifilm Finepix S1000 fd and a tripod.

I prefer the outdoors and I like to play with angles - as you can see from my "quiet escape" shot (no special effects in that one at all, just a crazy angle)
