Hello! My name is Leika and I have done photography for most of the past 15 years, though life's situations have caused me to abandon my art, find it again, abandon it, and so on, until i finally have decided that it is time to end this cycle. I am more serious now than ever before, and intend to become the best I can be.

I currently consider myself a mid-ranking amature with a decently solid basic knowledge of photography and equipment, though I admit that I am confused by some of the new digital jargon (that all started during one of my abandonment phases). This is another area I am eager to correct.

I shoot with a Lumix DMX-FZ8 camera and my post-production is done on PhotoShop Elements 6. Much of my photography is the sunrises and sunsets that are so stunning at the lake near my home, though I do abstract photography and am looking into other areas as well. In addition to photography, I also do several areas of art and digital design, though I'm working on improving all areas of the present time.

I look forward to meeting people and seeing what this site has to offer!



PS: My pic is not a self portrait, but it is a PS painting I did of an original character in one of my stories. Until I can do an actual portrait of myself, I thought this would do. Enjoy!
