I have always been fascinated by photography as a form of art but being absorbed by painting (that is my big passion) I didnt' followed up my late father who was a very talented ameteur photographer. Just recently have started to make some shot, just for fun, to test a digital camera I got as a birthday present and so I felt in love more and more with photography. I love to paint still life and probably for this reason still life photos are my most favourite. I like to compose a photographic set the way I am used to do when starting painting and then....see immediately the resul of my photo. This is so exciting. I like alto to make shots of architectural or work of art, living in a wonderful place like Rome, this is quite easy.
I know that I have a lot to learn and practice but this is now another way to express my creativity and feeling, not only thorugh my brushes and canvas but also to my camera. Now I have a reflex digital CANON EOS 400 D.

anche io sono pittore.. o meglio, sono stato..
ho fatto l'accademia a Genova e ho seguito corsi di storia dell'arte all'Università..
amo l'astratto... con l'avvento del computer ho abbandonato lentamente i pennelli e la scultura per passare poi alla fotografia digitale... fantastica..
il grande studio che avevo si è ristretto ad una stanza con un paio di pc e tanti hard disck esterni per salvare le immagini... tutto è diventato virtuale.. come la nostra vita... un qualcosa che c'è me che non puoi acchiappare... qualcosa che appare sempre in maniera inaspettata.. senza chiedere.. accade...

Many thanks for your comment on my foxglove Paola, it is one of my favourite flowers too. I like to let them seed each year so that I always have them somewhere in the garden.
