Hello Everyone and thank you for visiting my fotopage.
I was born in Germany where at a young age I took pictures of my siblings and friends with an Agfa Isolette. I immigrated to Canada but visit Germany every 2 to 3 years.
I can not image my life without taking photos, and with the new digital technology it is great to be able to take so many photos. I photograph anything and everything mostly in colour but also in black and white. I think my forte is nature photography, but I like the challenge of capturing the expressions of people and life situations and the unusual. I have the privilege of travelling a fair bit, and I like to take images that speak of the country and its people and customs.
I like my Minolta Maxxum 5 and recently a Canon PowerShot S3 1S . I try to take images that do not need cropping or altering, however, it's great that the possibility exists.

I wasn't sure about this photo exactly because the new house is poking up between the ruins of the old cottage BUT I decided I liked the mountains and the old house ruins and the new house added some interest.

I was in Victoria BC this summer on my way to do some fishing on the Skeena river (that's where I took the eagle shots)
I took this shot at the Abkhazi Gardens in Victoria.

It is supposed to be amazing there in May and June when the rhododendrons flower.
I am now going to sift through all your work - which looks great!

You must be very lucky, to live in such beautiful country. I traveld last year with a motorhome in Canada. It was the best vacation I`ve had ever in my life. I can`t get enough of the breathtaking landscape, the animals and the friendly people. I took approximately 5.000 photos... I love Canada very much and since I was a child, I have a dream, to live on a Farm in Canada, it`s crazy, isn`t it? Next year I will go back to Canada, to make more photos.... Unfortunately we had a lot of rain in Vancouver, it`s an incredible City and I spent there a lot of money hih...
