“What is most important usually is invisible ...."
so wrote Antoine de Saint Exupéry in his “The Little Prince”.
But exactly these hidden messages I'm always on the trace.
I'm searching for the premium behind the banality.
To photograph between the lines.
To condense the reality up to Surrealism.
Because still seeing is the most important sense of humans.
And the task of photography is to stimulate this essential sense,
to challenge it.
Pictures must excite emotions.
Pictures have to create longing or fascination,
should produce goose skin or embarrassment.
"Most of the times I do not plan my pictures, I do find them.
Or they find me ; -)
And in order to "experience" the world of my pictures
you may need to learn first how to feel.
Because “You have to view something with the heart to be able to see ... ”.
