i am a photographer in apprenticeship, second year about to begin! i have been fortunate enough to be taught by Jörn Sunderbrink who specialized in food-commercials. still, from time to time we take a little break from it and enjoy quite a variety of commercials.
the photos i post here are plain works i do within my spare time-off. recently i really go for people. certainly i have got a lot to learn but am quite concerned to improve throughout the months.
until now, i just took photos of friends, people i was brave enough to simply ask, etc. ! but i would love every oportunity to try and test myself....
so, if by chance you happen to like my "style" ( if one can allready talk of style... ;) ) and live around my city, Essen, Germany, i would appreciate any willing model. since i cannot promise satisfying quality, those shootings would, of course, be for free.

ich bin fotograf in ausbildung, das zweite lehrjahr beginnt nach den ferien. ich habe das glück bei Jörn Sunderbrink lernen zu können; er macht hauptsächlich food. von zeit zu zeit genießen wir aber auch ein recht vielschichtige bandbreite an werbefotografie. abwechslung macht doch das leben schöner....
die fotos die ich hier hineinstelle, sind einfache arbeiten die ich in meiner freizeit mache. momentan interessieren mich people-aufnahmen am meisten. natürlich muß ich noch eine menge lernen, bin aber zuversichtlich, dass sich meine ergebnisse mit der zeit verbessern.
bislang habe ich überwiegend freunde, deren freunde, etc. fotographiert. ich nutze jede gelegenheit mich zu verbessern. also, sollte dir mein "stil" ( soweit man schon davon sprechen kann ;) ) gefallen, und du in meiner nähe wohnen solltest, Essen, Deutschland, würde ich mich sehr freuen, dich ins licht rücken zu können. da ich noch nicht für zufriedenstellende qualität bürgen kann, wäre ein shooting natürlich umsonst. du hättest schöne fotos, ich erfahrung!

Hi Simon - i like my mum picture in B&W a lot, the only thing i would like is for the eyes to be a lot more clear/sharp as i see in some pictures. I could dodge and sharpen them in PS but i dont think it looks natural. Need to know how to get the light on the eye but not blow out the face of make the face to harsh.
Any tips will be welcome :p Ohh i only use natural light so far.
