I'm a Northern California amateur photographer with a variety of photo topics that I like to shoot. I flyfish and travel mostly close to home. I will capture nature, low light, macro, action, and many other types of subjects. I enjoy solving photo problems and discovering photo opportunities. I also experiment a little with modifying photos in various ways, such as black and white, panoramic, or touching up to look like paintings or pencil drawings. I have an interest in science and the natural world which makes almost anything I come across a potential source of investigation for curiosity or photography.
