Sorting photos in your fotohome

You can re-sort your folders in the folder-view of your fotohome by clicking the arrows at the right border of the screen.

Please click the following icons:

• myPics (while being logged in)

• fotohome

• fotohome folder management

You'll come to the site where your folder and sorting options can be changed:

There are several options to sort photos in your fotohome-folder when you create a new folder. Of course you can change the sorting any time. You can select a special sorting for every single fotohome-folder. Click behind the folder to get to the referring screen.

1. Sorting by upload-date (old photos first)

This is the default setting. Your photos are sorted ascending by date and time you uploaded them. The oldest photo will be shown at the beginning of the folder, the newest one as last one.

2. Sorting by upload-date (new photos first)

The photos are sorted descending by date and time you uploaded them. The newest photo will be shown at the beginning of the folder, the oldest one as last one.

3. Sorting by publishing-date in mypics/general

If you choose this option your photos will be sorted by publishing date in myPics. Your photos will be sorted as it is done in myPics: The newest one will be shown first, the oldest one at the end of the folder.

How to sort your photos manual

If you want for example to bring a series in a new order just create a new folder and move the photos into it exactly in the order you want them to have in fotocommunity or on your fotohome-page.

Deleting a photo from your fotohome

Click the button "fotohome" while being logged in.

Now you reach the fotohome-view. Besides every photo you find a selection box. Click the little arrow and select:

Please click (bottom right) to finish the procedure.

Remember: If you delete a photo from the public area (in a channel/discussion) your photo will be deleted from both areas. All comments regarding the photo will be gone.

How to move a photo into a fotohome folder

• go to the myPics-screen (while being logged in)
• click “fotohome”
• you now see your photos. There is a little selection box besides it (showing an arrow down)
• Click the arrow and you see your fotohome-folders.
• Select the folder you want to move the photo into.
• After doing so click
• Now you see the new fotohome-folder besides the photo. “not in a fotohome folder” means that the photos wasn’t uploaded into a folder and is only visible in the public area.
