Navigating the fotocommunity

Navigating the fotocommunity is very simple. Choose a channel of your choice, for example NATURE. Upon entering this channel you will find links to all the different sections within this channel.

Every section has a name and a tiny stamp sized picture called thumbnails, or thumbs for short. In parenthesis you will find a number with the amount of photos located within the section already uploaded. On the right side of the screen you will find the most current photos that have been uploaded into the channel indepentently of it's category.

Navigating the Sections

Click onto the section on the left hand side of the page called LANDSCAPE. Now a new list of subsections appear. These are categories within the section LANDSCAPE that are open to your choice. There is also a short description of the contents of this section. On the right side of the screen you find the photos that were currently uploaded into this category

Now click on , and the subsection opens. Once you click onto one of the pictures on the right side you will see all the comments that have been written about this picture.

Navigating new photos

Now click onto the Channel. Again you will see the section lists with the newest photos. If you're only interested in seeing the latest photos uploaded into this channel without clicking through all the sections and subsections then hit the button NEW PHOTOS on the upper right hand side of your screen and then hit MORE.

All of the photos are always sorted by date, so that means the latest photos are the first ones you see.

Links beneath each photo

Beneath each photo you'll find a summery of links in which the photo at hand can be located. The photo might be located in more than one part of the fotocommunity. For example: within an open section or a private folder within someones fotohome collection. Or the photo might have been elected into the . These links are cross-references which will lead you to that folder or section in which it can be found.

Photographers Profile

A photographers name can be found in many different places. Beneath every photo and every comment. Anywhere you see someones name you have the chance, simply by clicking on it, to take you to that persons photographers profile.
