Frame in frameMost of us use frames to finish their photos and it doesn't matter if we have a print or our online presentation. The idea behind the "frame within the frame" is, to lead the viewers eye on a special topic within the photo, add depth to the photo or simply add some balance into the photo ... Almost everything can be used as such a frame, just think of doors, windows trees and lots of other objects you can imagine. The technique gives the impression of depth and it supports the feeling to look through an opening "into" the photo ... A classical example would be "food photography" where usually a plate is used to present the main motiv, catches the eye and distracts from other requisites (if used).
