Critism - straight and tough

We installed a section "Critisism - straight and tough", to have a place where photographers can upload photos, on which they want to have a very straight and intensive critique without any softening words.

The idea was born when we received more and more requests regarding the comments in fotocommunity, which from time to time are "too soft" in some users eyes.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT:

• This section bears the possibility that your work is judged very severely and people might comment very harshly on the photo, even if until now everybody told you how good the work is.

• Ignores shouldn't be used in this section. If a photographer can't stand the critique he might better move his photo out of this section or delete it. If there are problems, don't hesitate to contact the admins.

• Even if this is a section for straight words, we won't accept people calling others names. Please understand that the administration is not capable to lead long discussions regarding every point of view and will take appropriate action when urged to do so.

• The section is no benchmark for a photo's quality, there is nothing to win. It is intended to set up a space where critique can be forwarded straight and without any cover. The photographer has to accept that there are different opinions - even if he explains his point of view.

There is a simple rule: If you get angry, go and have a walk, delete your photo or move it out of this section. Here rules critique, it's dangerous to be here and the administration will stay away as long as possible.

We all hope that this section adds some new ideas and discussions ... :-)
