Times of long searches for contests are gone. Now we have our own contest-channel. Here are the contests and photoprojects of fotocommunity.com, here you can participate, have fun and win!

So, the newest member of our channel-family is reserved for contests and projects. Both have a limited duration of one or two months and are restricted to a special theme.

The difference is: In a photoproject it's all about honor and glory, while you can win attractive prices in a contest.

By the way ... everybody can suggest themes for our photoprojects!

Clear and user-friendly

The advantage of the new Contest-channel (http://www.fotocommunity.com/pc/pc/channel/57) is its clarity.

Actual running contests and photoprojects are listed one below the other on the left side; you can see the theme and ending date of every contest/photoproject at once.

Besides that the icons in the preview show you the actual status of the particular contest. The white box shows in which phase the contest is right now. If you see an "U" it's not to late to upload photos into the contest. "V" means the voting is active and every pay-member (basic-membership and higher) can give his vote. If the "R" is marked in white means the results are available.

There might be also an "J" which indicates that a special jury-voting is in process.

A "P" means that the contest is paused.
