Fotocommunity.com is divided into channels. Every channel has it's own structure consisting of sections and subsections. It's important to upload your photos into the right channel and section.

Attention: You can upload photos into every channel except the gallery. All photos within the gallery were voted in there by a voting-procedure by the members.

There are text forums within the fotocommunity.com, which can only be accessed from certain channels.

Channel Subjects

Here you can sort your photos by subject. If you want to improve your photos and are in need of assistance from other users don't hesitate to ask questions in your photo description. Usually you will find helpful comments and receive good results in doing so.

Channel Gallery

Here is where you'll find the most popular and successful works from fotocommunity.com users. Each photo in the gallery has been voted in by our users. As a member you can propose a photo for the gallery. Beneath each photo is a box that says which category the photo has been uploaded into. You'll see "in Galerie:" in the box. If this picture hasn't been suggested for the gallery you find the link "not yet, recommend now". This only works if the author's photos have been released. If not you'll see "unreleased" in its place. If the photo ended unsuccessfully you'll see "voting procedure (polls) ended unsuccessfully". In that case you won't be able to recommend it again. If the photo has been recommended for the gallery and in the voting process, you will see "presently being voted for" You may click on this link to go to the polls to vote.

Channel Topics

In this channel, photos are arranged by topics. This is where you'll find the catagories (photo-)techniques, puzzles, greetingcard and emotions like mourning.

Channel Nature

This is the channel for nature photography. You'll find a spot for all kinds of animals, plants and landscapes here.

Channel Nude

The nude channel is dedicated to erotic photos of almost every facing. There is a text forum connected to the nude channel. Nude is accessible only for paying members over the age of 18.

Channel Digiart

Digiart is the channel for all kinds of digital editing such as: sandwiching and composing of graphics (2D and 3D) and collages. You can upload any "manipulated" photo here other than the usual optimization for exhibition on the internet. We kindly ask you not to upload any nudes into this channel. There is a seperate section for digiart in the nude channel.

Channel Youth

This channel is fotocommunity's section for young photographers up to 25 years of age. You can only upload into this channel if you entered a valid age into your profile. Entering wrong data into you profile is a offence against the terms of use and can cause the deletion of your account!

Channel Contest

This channel will host our actual, planed and completed contests and projects.

As a Power-member (700 and more Credits) you can suggest new contests or photoprojects.

After this proposal there will be a voting to sanction the new contest/photoproject. Depending on the next free time-slot the contest/photoproject might go online delayes.

It's not possible to upload photos into completed contests/photoprojects.

Channel World

Travel-photography from all over the world. It's a multilinguistic channel. The sections are set up by continents and countrys. You can upload and discuss photots which are connected to this area. The world channel is shared by fotocommunity.de and fotocommunity.com which means your uploads there can be seen and discussed by users of both communities.
