Adding Buddies and Ignores

Use the Buddy-List to come back to your friends and your favourite photographers at fotocommunity. Besides that some information from your profile are only available for buddies.

(see E-mail settings).

By using the Ignore-List you can restrict selected photographers from giving comments to your photos or profile. These users can't send you Quickmails or private messages. For the reason that sometimes a "ignore" is given by mistake we kept the opportunity open to send fotomails (as a last chance to get in contact with somebody who is ignoring you). When receiving a fotomail by somebody you wilful ignore you can delete it without reading it.

You'll find the Buddy-icon in the List of photographers (http://www.fotocommunity.com/pc/pc/fotografen/1) and on every profile-site of a photographer: . The icon is gray as long as the photographer is not on your buddy- or ignore-list. With every click on the Buddy-icon the status changes:

• neutral --> Buddy --> Ignore --> neutral

Adding a photographer to your buddy-list

Click the buddy-icon once. It changes to orange. Now the photographer is on your buddy-list.

Adding a photographer to your ignore-list

If you click the buddy-icon again it turns red: The photographer is now on your ignore-list. If you ignore a photographer he won't be able to give comments to your photos or in your profile. He also can't send you quickmails or personal messages.

Taking a photographer from your buddy- or ignore-list

Click the buddy-icon until it turns gray again. Now the photographer is neiter on your buddy-list nor on your ignore-list.

Fotos from buddies

At the Mypics-screen you find the option: Buddies

If you click this icon you'll come to a site where all new uploads of your buddies are showen. This funcion is convenient if you want to make sure not to miss a photo from your friends in fotocommunity.

Sending fotomails to a buddy

You can write a FotoMail to every photographer on your buddy-list. schreiben. This works with your own or other photographers photos. This is a convenient way to make your friends look at special photos which they might not have seen without your reminder. If you want to send another photographer one of his own shots his address (name) will automaticly filled in the receipients field even if he's not on your buddy-list.
