September 2015 Monthly Theme – Animals and Birds

The monthly theme for September 2015 is “Animals and Birds".

Every month I will post photo challenge and topic. Anyone interested in participating can post an image in the thread to show how you depict the topic.

We are looking for photos this month of our furry and feathered friends. Either pets or in the wild.

There are no prizes for the monthly theme just the fun and satisfaction of participating.

This month the image can be new or something from your past portfolio.

my ancient canine friend from around the corner: i really would like to take her picture… but she is highly suspicious of my camera, even though it's ridiculously small. perhaps she thinks it will snatch her soul. since she is ancient and very dear to me, i'd rather enjoy her trust and company than make her feel uncomfortable. so for now, since the taming of the shrewd is tedious task, i'm posting tom & jerry from my archives instead. ; )

A gorilla seen in a Zoo and looking at his facial expression made me sad and wonder who we are that we can decide to put such a wonderful animal/person behind bars or glass
