Photos for Painting
Hello everyone
Im brand new here and wondered if I could ask a question. I am an artist who primarily paints in oils / acrylics and coloured pencils.
My question is, is it ok to use photos from this website to paint as long as I obtain permission from the photographer?

Welcome to FC ! i think as long as you ask permission from the photographers involved there will be no problem when you paint from photo's at FC.
However please keep in mind that this is a website for photography, and it is not the intention to publish paintings here.

I think you can ask for permission to photographers to create your paintings but as Ruud says this is a photography site and I do not think that your works are adequate with all due respect!
