I'm officer of 2014 Korean Airline Travel Photo Contest.
I would like to introduce this contest on this board.
It is one of big competion of photography aroud the world (submits 10,000 photos every year)
and it will be a good opertunity for your members.
Therefore please accept this info to share.

1.Contest Theme :“Pleasant and memorable Travel Moment”
(Only allowed for unpublished work from both Domestic and Overseas)
2.Who can apply? : Anyone who likes travel and photography
3.Application Period: Jul 25(Fri) ~ Sep 1(Mon), 2014
4.Contest Submission Details
■ Photo Size
- Digital Camera Photo : All accepted
- Film Camera Photo : Black and White or Color printed photo, <11 X 14> inch
a. Only Original Photo(raw film or file), Computer Graphics and synthesis
is not allowed such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or any other enchanced.
b. Prize Winners must send the original image(must be over 3000pixels)
c. No Size limits for Smart-life Prize

After completing the form, please save it and send as an attachment.
※ Printed photo submission is available via mail or in person(Please be sure to
fill in your phone number,
name and address above your entry)
※ Post/Visit : Korean Air Travel Photo Contest Office, Sungwon BLDG, 2634-27,
Nambusunhwan-ro, Seocho-gu,Seoul, Korea, (Zip code : 137-886)
※ For Smart Life Prize, Applicants shall take photo by Smart Device and submit
it by mobile event page
■ Applicants can submit Five photos for both online and mail submissions

5.Award Standards
■ Grand prix ~ Selected work : a photo of a memorial travel moment
■ Best Friend prize: Photos of love, friendship with family members, friends, boy or girl friend, or own pet etc.
■ Smart-life prize : Photos that express ‘my Smart Life style’ in Daily routine taken by smart devices.
6. Results Announcement / Awards
■ Announcement : 3(Fri) Oct 2014
the winner will be announced via Hankook Ilbo Newspaper, posted on the online contest gallery
website, and also notified individually by e-mail
※ Announcement date can be changed due to schedule
■ Awards Ceremony : 14(Tue) Oct 2014 11:00 AM. Ilwoo space, Korean Air Building, Seosomun, Seoul
■ Prizes (Combined judging for film and digital entries)
- Grand Prix Prize (1) : A trophy and two prestige class round trip tickets to any Korean Air destination
+ two domestic economy class round trip tickets
- Gold Prize(1) : A trophy and two prestige class round trip tickets to any Korean Air destination
- Silver Prize(2) : A trophy and two economy class round trip tickets to any Korean Air destination
- Bronze Prize(6) : A trophy and two economy class round trip tickets to Japan/China/Southeast Asia

8. Rules For Contest
1) ONLY able to submit original copyright, all copyrights of each photos will belong to each entrants
2) Awards must be cancelled for any entry which is imitated, published, counterfeited, retouched or have been
awarded at any other competition
3) The winning entrants should submit the original film (for film photo) or the original downloaded file
(for digital photo) within the requested time period
4) All photographs will be discarded 3months later, before that if participants want to return participant’s own
photo, then the charge of restoration will be paid by participant
5) The supplementary prizes (tickets) are non-transferable except for direct family members
