Syncronise and scale at the same time

I'am searching for a tool which will synchronize my image files from the PC to the netbook and automaticaly scale down the image size. I have the large, original picture files on my PC but I like to have it also on the netbook but in a smaler size.
Does anyone have an idea about a tool which can do this?

Try the freeware IrfanView or XnView.
They include batch converting.
