How lose is too lose?
When i look at photos I took, I get the feeling the crop is too loose. I guess its my feeling of not capturing a important detail or so, like in this shoot: https://flic.kr/p/w6tFTH
What do you prefer? A too tight or too lose crop? Where is you're perfekt balance?

The crop is to loose in the Flicker image, too much space above the head, but that is my opinion someone else most likely will not agree with me. The bigger question is what is your vision of the shot? When you close your eyes and visualize the image how do you see it? That is your style. Then again what is the difference between a new photographer learning to do the shot per acceptable standards and developing your style?
