can anybody give me advice in astrography
beginer in this field....

the advice i need is

1. what type of suitable filem ???
2. the speed
3. the aperture
4. techniques

any web site that give tutorial and examples

P/S: i just have a tripod and a camera that have B-mode(can open the aperture as long i press it with remote)

The biggest problem with astro-photography is that the earth is rotating. Trying to get a pin sharp image is most difficult. Invest in a telescope with an equatorial mount that tracks with the rotation of the earth. Your camera can be attached to eyepiece with stunning results.

If this isn't possible, you can still get some great effects just leaving the shutter open (1-5 hours) with the night sky and an fixed object in the forground.

Also, many observatories professional and amateur) will let you attach your camera to their pro scopes. Ask around.
