Although I am enjoying digital, I really miss the darkroom. I'm in the process of putting together a little at home darkroom to play around with some medium format and flat film vintage cameras. I've found a supplier for my film, but I just found out Kodak is not going to be selling black and white photographic papers too. What are you self processors of black and white doing for paper and chemicals now a days? I've been out of the darkroom almost 20 years, but I figured I could still pick up my favorite Kodak paper.

I was looking for the fiber based matte papers that had textures. I think they were called tweed and and canvas, "EKTAKURE" if I remember right.

Is it going back to the days of sensitizing papers yourself for hobbyists?

I guess this next generation will be documented on ink jet papers. Does anyone have any idea how stable the new medium is?

They are getting fewer all the time, but i found this producer, based in the UK, who still make the old fashioned bromide papers etc. :

Thanks guys. Will check them out. I checked Ebay for the Kodak papers and am shocked at what it is selling for - like gold.
